LIFT COMMITTEE MEMBERS

What is LIFT?

The goal of the Lander Investment for Tomorrow (LIFT) Program is to invest Fremont County’s one-half cent sales tax funds back into the Lander economy by providing funding programs to its businesses or organizations. Lander’s businesses and organizations are its lifeblood, and it is vital that the economic development sales tax is invested to continue growth and prosperity. The LIFT committee operates as a subcommittee of the Lander Economic Development Association (LEDA) and is made up of four directors-at-large and two alternates from the community, one member who is appointed by the City.

Lonnie Bull - Chair

Lonnie is a University of Wyoming alumni and has worked as a financial planner for the last 15 years. A strong believer in the power of education, he has been proactive in receiving his AAMS®, CRPS®, CFP®, CHFC® and CIMA® professional designations. Outside of the office, you can find Lonnie spending time with his partner, Sarah, and stepchildren, Andrew and Madalyn. Lonnie serves as president of our local Shriners International Club, is a board member of Help for Health and is a member of Kiwanis. He also supports the Lander Community Foundation and the Olivia Caldwell Foundation out of Casper, working to make our communities a better place to live.

MARILYN FISHER - VICE chair

Marilyn and her husband, Jim, moved to Lander in 2019 to be closer to family after living in Torrington for 35 years. Marilyn is currently a semi-retired Certified Public Accountant. No stranger to economic development, Marilyn served on the Board of the Goshen County Economic Development Association (GCEDA) and was their treasurer and accountant for many years. While on that board, she was involved in their economic development sales tax programs and assisted with numerous federal and state grant and loan projects directed by GCEDA.
